Christyne’s first book, written at age 7, told the story of Kermit the Frog dressing up as a pig to meet Miss Piggy’s parents.  It was called “Kermit the Hog.”  She still thinks it has potential.

Today, she writes fun, quirky children’s books about everything from ordinary worms to magical libraries.  Much as she sneaks peas into her daughter’s mashed potatoes (shhhh!), she occasionally hides a lesson in those stories, but hopes they’re still delicious.

When Christyne is not writing for kids, raising one keeps her very busy. She’s also a practicing attorney, and enjoys reading novels, making (and eating) comfort food, and binge watching TV with her husband and a cup of peppermint tea.
